The Unaware Atelier Master revealed the first trailer and two new cast members ahead of the anime’s April 2025 release date. The adaptation was announced in October 2024 with the first visual, teaser trailer, cast and staff. Studio EMT Squared is animating, with Hisashi Ishii as the director, Deko Akao in charge of the series composition, and Harikemu Wata on the music.
The new cast members include Hisako Kanemoto and Rie Tanaka, whom you can hear in the new trailer along with the main cast.
The voice cast for the The Unaware Atelier Master anime now consists of the following members:
- Mikako Komatsu as Kurt
- Asami Seto as Yulicia
- Minami Tanaka as Lieselotte
- Hisako Kanemoto as Mimiko (NEW)
- Rie Tanaka as Ophelia (NEW)
Yosuke Tokino writes The Unaware Atelier Master (Kanchigai no Atorie Maisuta) light novel, which features illustrations by Zounoze. It was first published online in August 2018, while AlphaPolis began publishing it in March 2019. There is also a manga adaptation by Naharu Furukawa, which began on AlphaPolis in December 2019. The manga is published digitally in English through Alpha Manga.
The story follows Kurt, a young boy who gets kicked out of the Hero’s Party for being ‘useless’ and low combat skills. However, as it usually goes, it turns out all his non-combat skills are actually SSS-grade, leading him to save everyone while being completely unaware of just how overpowered he really is.
