The Apothecary Diaries Season 2 Episode 20 preview has been released on the official website. The episode will broadcast in Japan on May 30 and will be available later with English subtitles on Crunchyroll and Netflix (in Asia). The episode is titled “Fort.”

The warehouse that Maomao and Kyou-u entered was the workshop of Feifa guns, the same ones which were used to attack Jinshi during the hunt. The two are discovered by the ruthless woman, Shenmei, who appeared with one of the envoys, Aira. Although they somehow managed to escape the torture, Maomao is now imprisoned in a “fortress” surrounded by snow and sturdy walls, which also holds a large amount of Feifa. Maomao realizes that she’s caught up in a major incident that would shake the country.
In case you missed it, the manga series by Itsuki Nanao and Nekokurage on Square Enix’s Monthly Big Gangan has announced a sudden hiatus. It is also worth noting that The Apothecary Diaries is based on the light novel series written by Natsu Hyuga, which has released a total of 15 Volumes. Additionally, Volume 16 is set to release in Japan on May 30, the same release date as the English-translated version of Volume 14.

The Apothecary Diaries Announces Spin-off Manga of Xiaolan’s Point of View
The Apothecary Diaries is a Japanese light novel series written by Natsu Hyuga and illustrated by Touko Shino. The series also received two manga adaptations: one by Itsuki Nanao and Nekokurage on Square Enix’s Monthly Big Gangan, and another by Minoji Kurata on Shogakukan’s Monthly Sunday Gene-X. Meanwhile, TOHO Animation Studio and OML animated the first season of The Apothecary Diaries in 2023. The second season is currently ongoing, which Crunchyroll describes:
