A completely new TV anime from the Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha series has been announced, titled Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha EXCEEDS Gun Blaze Vengeance. This is the first project for the series since the 2018 Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha Detonation movie.

The announcement was made during a special 20th anniversary program for the series. Further details about the project, such as the story and characters, will be revealed in the future.
Additionally, an original manga for Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha was also announced, titled Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha EXCEEDS. It will launch in 2025 in Kodansha’s Monthly Sirius magazine.
There will be a special movie adaptation of the manga’s first 18 pages at the Lyrical Collection event starting on January 11, 2025. The logo and visual were revealed for the manga.
Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha (Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha) is a popular anime franchise that debuted in 2004. It was initially derived from a spin-off of the visual novel Triangle Heart. The major entries in the franchise include:
- Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha (2004):
- The original TV series.
- Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha A’s (2005):
- A direct sequel where Nanoha and Fate face off against the Book of Darkness and its four guardians.
- Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS (2007):
- Set 10 years later, with Nanoha and Fate mentoring younger generations of mages as part of the Time-Space Administration Bureau (TSAB).
- The Movie Series (2010–2018):
- Retellings of the original series (Nanoha: The Movie 1st and 2nd A’s), followed by the new stories such as Nanoha Reflection (2017) and Nanoha Detonation (2018).
- Magical Record Lyrical Nanoha Force (2010):
- A darker manga spinoff focused on post-StrikerS events.
