The Magical Girl Raising Project Restart anime revealed a teaser trailer, opening theme song, and a 2026 premiere. Minori Chihara is singing the opening theme titled “No tears here,” which she performed for the first time live at the Animelo Summer Live 2025 “ThanXX!” event. Magical Girl Raising Project is a light novel series written by Asari Endo and illustrated by Maruino. The first anime adaptation aired between October 1, 2016, and December 17, 2016. Crunchyroll is streaming the series and they describe it as follows:
Magical Girl Raising Project is a popular social game that has an ability to grant players a 1 in 10,000 chance to become a real life Magical Girl with unique magical abilities to help people. However, at some point, Fav, the magical administrator fairy, decides to cut the population of Magical Girls in half. The game quickly changes into a twisted, wicked battlefield as the 16 magical girls get dragged into a battle for survival against each other.
