Magilumiere Magical Girls Season 2 revealed a new trailer, Hitomi Koshigaya’s voice actress, and one new cast member, and the ending theme song. Mariko Higashiuchi is the new voice of Hitomi Koshigaya (replacing Yumiri Hanamori) and Sayumi Watabe joins the cast as Iroha Akasaka. The ending theme song “BooooM!!!” is performed by vTuber Houshou Marine. The sequel premieres this July 4 with J.C. Staff animating.
Toshinori Fukushima will be directing the sequel, replacing Masahiro Hiraoka. Michiko Yokote is in charge of the script and Makoto Miyazaki is composing the music. The cast includes:
- Fairouz Ai as Kana Sakuragi
- Rikiya Koyama as Koji Shigemoto
- Daiki Yamashita as Kazuo Nikoyama
- Ryota Osaka as Midorikawa
The anime is based on the manga series written by Sekka Iwata and illustrated by Yu Aoki. It was initially serialized on the Shonen Jump+ website and mobile app in October 2021. VIZ Media licensed the title and describes it as:
