Magilumiere Magical Girls Season 2 unveiled a key visual on Friday. The series is slated to premiere in July 2026 with J.C. Staff returning to animate.
Toshinori Fukushima will be directing the sequel, replacing Masahiro Hiraoka. Michiko Yokote is in charge of the script and Makoto Miyazaki is composing the music. Yumiri Hanamori is stepping down from the role of Hitomi Koshigaya. The new voice actor for the said role is yet to be announced, but the rest of the cast from the first season will reprise their roles:
- Fairouz Ai as Kana Sakuragi
- Rikiya Koyama as Koji Shigemoto
- Daiki Yamashita as Kazuo Nikoyama
- Ryota Osaka as Midorikawa
The anime is based on the manga series written by Sekka Iwata and illustrated by Yu Aoki. It was initially serialized on the Shonen Jump+ website and mobile app in October 2021. VIZ Media licensed the title and describes it as:
