JUJUTSU KAISEN Season 3 anime has revealed the preview images and synopsis for Episode 4 ahead of its January 22 premiere. Studio MAPPA is back to animate the third season, with Shota Goshozono as the director. The first two episodes of the season were first shown through the Execution movie. The upcoming episode is titled “Perfect Preparation”, and you can check out the preview images and synopsis below:
To quell the Culling Game, the group splits up to carry out their respective roles. Among them, Maki heads to the Zenin clan to recover cursed tools and strengthen their forces for participation in the Culling Game. Ignoring Naoya’s insults and her mother’s attempts to stop her, Maki makes her way to the armory. When she opens its doors, instead of the stored weapons, she finds a blood-soaked Mai and her father, Ogi Zenin, standing there.

Gege Akutami’s JUJUTSU KAISEN manga officially ended on September 30, 2024. It was serialized for 6-and-a-half-years since March 2018, with the story getting concluded in 30 volumes. Volumes 29 and 30 both released on December 25, 2024. VIZ Media licensed the manga in English.
Studio MAPPA previously animated both seasons of the TV anime and movie for the franchise, while Crunchyroll is streaming them. The story follows Yuji Itadori, a boy with insane physical abilities who ends up joining a school for jujutsu sorcerers after an encounter with Megumi Fushiguro, Satoru Gojo and Sukuna Ryomen. To delay getting executed for eating one of Sukuna’s fingers, Yuji takes on the task of finding and eating the remaining 19 fingers of the ‘strongest sorcerer in history’ in order to try and get rid of him. However, things don’t quite go as smoothly as they’d like.
