Marin Kitagawa Gets Official Figure by Aniplex

Marin Kitagawa, from the My Dress-Up Darling series, now has an official 1/7 scale figure, which is available for pre-order on the AniplexPlus website. The figure costs ¥18 000 (around $131) and the delivery date is set for September 2023. Pre-orders will be open until October 23.

My Dress-Up Darling is a manga series written by Shinichi Fukuda. A TV anime adaptation aired in the Winter 2022 anime season and was animated by studio CloverWorks. It had 12 episodes and the main cast included Hina Suguta as Marin Kitagawa and Shoya Ishige as Wakana Gojo. Amanda Lee and Paul Dateh voiced the duo in the English dub.

Crunchyroll streamed the anime and describes the plot as:
Wakana Gojo is a high school boy who wants to become a kashirashi–a master craftsman who makes traditional Japanese Hina dolls. Though he’s gung-ho about the craft, he knows nothing about the latest trends, and has a hard time fitting in with his class. The popular kids–especially one girl, Marin Kitagawa–seem like they live in a completely different world.
That all changes one day, when she shares an unexpected secret with him, and their completely different worlds collide.
