Mario & Luigi: Brothership Reveals Overview Trailer Ahead of November Release

Nintendo has revealed an overview trailer for their upcoming Mario & Luigi: Brothership game, which will release for the Nintendo Switch on November 7, 2024. The game is set on the island of Concordia, and the brothers will look to bring peace back to it on classic platformer style.

The trailer introduces several of the core mechanics for the new Super Mario game. Players will use their shipshape island to navigate the sea in search of islands, which will then be playable levels with unique characteristics.

Mario and Luigi can do all sorts of combinations, including becoming a spaceship (or brothership) to fly over areas that are too big to jump over, rolling into a ball to pass through pipes, or playing with ice and fire to take down obstacles.

Another key part of the trailer is the fight system. Encountering an enemy starts a fight, where players are able to react to attacks to dodge them, or do combo attacks for more damage. They also introduce “Bros. Attacks,” which are the best way to deal with enemies.

The Mario & Luigi: Brothership overview trailer also introduces some new characters, along with Bowser and Princess Peach. You can check out the full trailer below.
