MARRIAGETOXIN anime revealed the preview and synopsis for Episode 13 (Season 1 finale) ahead of the episode’s June 30 release. Studio BONES Film is handling the animation production, which premiered on April 3. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime. Following the previous encounters with a Water Master and Sound Master, Gero has also concluded his fight against the Beast Master Dogo Toshiro and met his sister Tonako.

The head of the Beast Clan, Tonako Dogo, takes Toshiro and Byakko into custody. Arashiyama hosts an “animal thank-you festival” to express her gratitude to Gero and friends. Gero finds the way she lives her life genuinely cool. And Kinosaki, not one to let them miss a chance at romance, goes into overdrive to help them along! Where will their relationship lead? Meeting Himekawa, Ureshino, and Arashiyama has kicked Gero’s search for a bride into high gear. Meanwhile, Teruaki Gero of the Poison Clan Branch Families makes some unsettling moves.

The anime is directed by Motonobu Hori, who is known for Carole & Tuesday and Metallic Rogue. Serving as Chief Animation Director and Character Designer will be Kohei Tokuoka, who served as Chief Animation Director for SK8 the Infinity and as Character Designer and Chief Animation Director for The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity. Studio BONES Film is known for animating two ongoing hit titles, My Hero Academia FINAL SEASON and Gachiakuta.
Official synopsis:
For centuries, the deadly arts have been perfected by those known as the Masters. Among them, the
Poison Masters of the Five Great Families hold the most fearsome power and influence. Hikaru Gero, heir
to the Poison Masters’ Gero Family, has lived his entire life in the underworld, far removed from love or
marriage.
But when the Gero Family head decrees that Hikaru’s sister must bear an heir to preserve the bloodline –
