OSHI NO KO revealed an adorable new visual starring Mem-cho for Greenery Day, celebrated in Japan on May 4. The holiday, which forms part of the country’s Golden Week, is traditionally marked by visits to green spaces, nature-themed events, and free admission to select botanical gardens and zoos.

A special video, voiced by Mem-cho’s Japanese voice actress Rumi Okubo, was also revealed to celebrate spring.
Studio Doga Kobo also animated the first two seasons of the anime which is directed by Daisuke Hiramaki. Ciao Nekotomi was the assistant director, Kanna Hirayama was the character designer and Takuri Iga was the music composer. The cast includes:

- Yurie Igoma as Ruby Hoshino
- Megumi Han as Kana Arima
- Manaka Iwami as Akane Kurokawa
- Rumi Okubo as Mem-cho
- Lynn as Miyako Saito
- Rie Takahashi as Ai Hoshino
OSHI NO KO is a manga series written by Aka Akasaka (Kaguya-sama: Love is War) and illustrated by Mengo Yokari (Scum’s Wish). The manga was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump from April 2020 until its end in November 2024.
The TV anime currently has Season 3 in production set to premiere in 2026, while the live-action movie concluded the entire adaptation and released in theaters worldwide from December 2024.
