Video game developer miHoYo is currently rolling out its HoYo FEST live event globally, as part of promoting its whole slew of games, most notably Genshin Impact.
In North America, they announced that they will be attending the annual Anime NYC convention, which takes place at Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City, USA. According to the official Twitter post, they will be present at the Anime NYC from November 18 to November 21 at Booth 626 of the event. Anime NYC also notes that attendees must also show proof of vaccination upon entering the convention’s premises.

Meanwhile, the event has also rolled out to Southeast Asia, in the countries of:

HoYo FEST is a global initiative that involves a themed cafe collaboration, showcases of miHoYo games, including Honkai Impact 3, Tears of Themis, and Genshin Impact. The event takes place from November 5 to 16.
Genshin Impact’s Constant Popularity
MiHoyo’s hottest title right now is definitely Genshin Impact. According to data from Sensor Tower, Genshin Impact has generated approximately US$2b in worldwide player spending across the App Store and Google Play in the year following its official launch on September 28, 2020.
The data also showed that China ranked as the top market for player spending in the game’s mobile version during its first year, generating approximately US$577m to date, or 28.6% of total global revenue, via iOS alone. This is followed by Japan (23.7% of player spending), while the United States is third with 21% of revenue.
