Illustrator Mishima Kurone will release her 2nd KonoSuba artbook, the official Twitter account of Sneaker Bunko posted on October 22.
In addition to the announcement, they also revealed the release date. The upcoming book Mishima Kurone Gashu II Blessing!! Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! will be out on February 1, 2022. They unveiled a new illustration as well.
Mishima Kurone has released her 1st artbook Cheers! Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! on February 1, 2017. So the new book will be coming exactly five years after the release.
It will compile gorgeous illustrations she drew for the anime’s 2nd season and film “Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! Kurenai Densetsu” and more, which makes it even more thick than the previous volume. Additionally, special, newly drawn pin-ups will join the collection. The official website says “The members cosplay?! They turn into infants?!!”. What’s more, the author of the light novel, Akatsuki Natsume will write an exclusive story for the KonoSuba artbook.
He also tweeted about it saying “I got the opportunity to write about these troublesome characters for the first time in a while. But it was actually fun writing“.
Editor of the light novel brand foreshadows more announcements in the near future: “We have a lot of things coming up about KonoSuba until the February release, so I’d like you to keep your radar on…!” Quoting the tweet, Mishima Kurone tells the fans to look forward to them.
