Unlimited streaming and rental distribution in Japan has officially begun for Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans Urdr-Hunt – Path of the Little Challenger, along with the Iron-Blooded Orphans 10th anniversary original short anime Wedge of Interposition.
The two works, previously screened together in Japanese theaters starting October 31, 2025, are now available across multiple streaming platforms as of February 1, 2026.
Urdr-Hunt – Path of the Little Challenger is a special compilation anime adapting the mobile game Urdr-Hunt into animated form. Paired with the compilation film is the brand-new short anime Wedge of Interposition, set between Seasons 1 and 2 of the original television series. The short focuses on Tekkadan after their successful mission escorting Kudelia Aina Bernstein, as their reputation spreads across the Outer Sphere.
The production features returning main staff from the Iron-Blooded Orphans series, including director Tatsuyuki Nagai, series supervisor Hajime Kamoshida, and character designer Michinori Chiba, based on original designs by Yu Ito. The short Wedge of Interposition features script by Mari Okada. Mechanical design is handled by Naohiro Washio and Kanetake Ebikawa, with additional Urdr-Hunt designs by Ippei Gyoubu, Tamotsu Shinohara, and Kenji Teraoka. Music is composed by Masaru Yokoyama, and animation is produced by Sunrise, with Bandai Namco Filmworks overseeing production and distribution.
The opening theme for Urdr-Hunt is “The Over” by Re:End, while the ending theme for Wedge of Interposition is “Raise your flag” by MAN WITH A MISSION. You can watch the new trailer below.
The confirmed voice cast includes Rina Ikoma as Wistario Afam, alongside returning Iron-Blooded Orphans cast members Kengo Kawanishi as Mikazuki Augus and Yoshimasa Hosoya as Orga Itsuka.
Unlimited streaming is available on Japanese services including Bandai Channel, d Anime Store, Netflix, U-NEXT, Anime Hodai, and Prime Video. Rental distribution is also available across additional platforms such as DMM TV, FOD, Niconico Channel, TELASA, Apple TV, and YouTube Rentals, among others.
