Muse Asia Announces DAN DA DAN: Evil Eye Cinema and Special Screening Dates for Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, and Taiwan

Muse Asia has announced the dates for the DAN DA DAN: Evil Eye cinema release and the Special Fan Screening in Hong Kong, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Taiwan. The Special Fan Screening includes limited edition merchandise. As of writing, the confirmed dates and locations are as follows:

  • The Philippines: May 30 (Robinsons Galleria Ortigas) & June 1 (Robinsons Galleria Cebu)
  • Malaysia: May 31 & June 1 (TGV Sunway Velocity, Terbau City, Gurney Paragon, Kinta City)
  • Singapore: May 31 (GV Plaza)

Meanwhile, the confirmed general cinema premiere dates are:

  • Taiwan: May 30 (Vision)
  • Malaysia: May 30 (TGV)
  • Hong Kong: May 30
  • The Philippines: June 4 (Robinsons Movieworld)
  • Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Macao, India: To be Announced

As previously announced, the DAN DA DAN: Evil Eye movie will be licensed by Muse and will be released in 10 Asian territories on May 30th. Details of the ticket and other regions will be announced at a later date. Follow the Muse Facebook page and Instagram for more updates.

The DAN DA DAN: Evil Eye theatrical movie is an early release of the first three episodes of the anime’s second season. The final episode of the first season will also be included as a recap, as well as an exclusive interview with co-directors Fuga Yamashiro and Abel Gongora. Fans will finally get the chance to unveil the mystery surrounding Jiji’s cursed house and come face-to-face with the horrors within. Muse describes the plot:

DAN DA DAN (also written as Dandadan) is a manga written and illustrated by Yukinobu Tatsu. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ app since April 2021. The anime series is the directorial debut of Fuga Yamashiro, with Science SARU (The Colors Within, Scott Pilgrim Takes Off) in charge of the animation.
