Muse Asia will be streaming “Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day” on their official YouTube Channel. The free stream will be available for a limited time from November 5 to December 31, 2021. Muse Asia announced that this is also in celebration of the anime’s 10th anniversary.
In addition, it will also be their first time uploading an anime series in 1080p quality. According to their announcement, viewers can “reunite at our secret base (and cry a river.)”
The announcement also posted the “Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day” synopsis:
“When we were kids, we were always together. I was the leader of the group. I was confident.I wasn’t afraid of anything. Until that day that I said something to her — something, I would regret for a long time. I didn’t mean to hurt her. I just thought I would apologize the next day. But that “next day” never came. We all drifted apart, closing off our little wounded hearts.
Time passed, and one summer day a miracle happened. She appeared before me out of the blue. “I have a wish that I want you to grant for me.”However, she didn’t remember what her wish was. And so, to realize her “wish,” we will reunite once again at our secret base. “
Muse Asia provides anime for South East Asia countries. As such, “Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day” will be available in Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar (Burma), Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. The anime’s stream will be available on November 5, 20:30 (GMT+8).
A 10th Anniversary special music video was also recently revealed on Menma’s birthday. They also released a beautiful creditless version of the anime’s ending theme.
“Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day” or Anohana for short, aired in 2011 with 11 episodes. The anime received a movie release, manga adaptation, as well as light and visual novel adaptations.
