Spring is one of the most wonderful times of the year, that is, unless you suffer from hay fever. If you do, may whatever god you pray to be on your side. If you are a god and still deal with that, then life’s far beyond saving. And in the My Deer Friend Nokotan episode 10 preview, it seems that Nokotan is in for a hard time as hay fever grips the poor deer. This begs the question: do deer actually suffer from hay fever? And more importantly, what can Koshitan do to help her in such a vulnerable situation?
The My Deer Friend Nokotan episode 10 preview includes a trailer uploaded to Twin Engine’s YouTube channel and image stills from the upcoming episodes. This may seem like a regular promotional event, but be assured it’s a psyops to help the deer in their quest for world dominance.
Animated by the legendary WIT Studio (Ancient Magus Bride, Vinland Saga) and produced by Dentsu and Twin Engine, My Deer Friend Nokotan is an introspection into the human condition. While we may think we’re at the pinnacle of evolution, what would happen if suddenly a deer/human hybrid appeared? How would we cope if we were no longer at the top of the food chain? That’s the dilemma that Torako “Koshitan” Koshi lives with every day. When the former delinquent encounters a deer/human hybrid, her life gets torn apart, and her carefully crafted facade as a model individual is torn apart by her newly found companion.
