“When there’s no more room in Nara, the deer will walk the earth” – the Bible or something. That may sound like bullocks, but walking the earth they are. And with the release of My Deer Friend Nokotan episode 7 preview, all hope is lost for a peaceful resolution with the ungulate.
This week we’ll follow the Deer Club as they visit the Tsubameya cafe. But as Chiharu’s brother tries to provide top-tier hospitality, he soon realizes that tending to deer isn’t as easy as one would believe. In fact, as he’s exposed to the nonsense that often follows Koshitan and Nokotan, he soon loses his composure.
Titled “Deer Collection, Streaming, Hospitality, etc” the episode comes to Crunchyroll on Wednesday with the shift in its simulcasting schedule. The My Deer Friend Nokotan episode 7 preview includes a trailer video and episode stills.

Say you’ve somehow avoided the sea of memes this show has unleashed, and you don’t know what My Deer Friend Nokotan is about? Here’s a homegrown synopsis for you; one day, when former delinquent and current student council president Torako “Koshitan” Koshi heads to school, she encounters a strange sight. Dangling from telephone wires is a beast of legend, the cryptid that stands above all cryptids, the pinnacle of primate evolution; a deer/human hybrid. As Koshitan is forced to help this mystical beast, she unwittingly introduces the biggest pest she can into her life. A pest that threatens her carefully crafted image.
