The popular Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru (My Dress-Up Darling) manga series has surpassed 4.5 million copies in circulation. The manga series had a little over 3.5 million copies before the anime adaptation started airing in January this year.
The milestone was marked with a special announcement:
The author of the manga series, Shinichi Fukuda expressed his excitement and thanked “everyone who supported the series and talked about it, as well as the amazing anime staff“:
My Dress-Up Darling manga series by Shinichi Fukuda started serialization in January 2018 in Square Enix’s Young Gangan magazine. The manga series is still ongoing and as of now, it has 8 volumes available. The same publisher is serializing the manga series in English:

Funimation is currently streaming the anime adaptation which is currently on its 4th episode. Keisuke Shinohara (Black Fox) is directing the show, while CloverWorks (Horimiya) is animating. Yoriko Tomika (Osamake) is taking care of the series composition and Kazumasa Ishida (Character Design Assistant Saekano the Movie: Finale) is working on the character designs.
