My Hero Academia New Game to Be Revealed on July 2 by Bandai Namco Entertainment

My Hero Academia is officially getting a new game, with Bandai Namco Entertainment to reveal it at its Summer Showcase on July 2. The franchise is currently airing its My Hero Academia: Vigilantes spin-off anime, while the eight and final season of the main series will premiere in October.

My Hero Academia already has numerous video games across different platforms. Its first one was Battle for All (2016), which released on the Nintendo 3DS. It has mobile games like Smash Tap (2017) and Ultra Impact (2021), both being action-RPG gameplay, as well as The Strongest Hero (2020 in Asia, 2021 globally), a 3D open-world action RPG.

The series moved to consoles with My Hero One’s Justice (2018) and its sequel One’s Justice 2 (2020), 3D both arena fighters available for thePS4, Switch, Xbox One, and PC. In 2023, Bandai Namco released My Hero Ultra Rumble, a free-to-play battle royale game available on all major platforms.

Bandai Namco Summer Showscase Announcement – Set to Feature New My Hero Academia Game

The My Hero Academia manga by Kohei Horikoshi ran from July 2014 to August 2024 in Weekly Shonen Jump, concluding after a decade-long serialization. Besides the TV series, My Hero Academia also has four feature films. The latest, My Hero Academia: You’re Next, arrived on Blu-ray and DVD in Japan on February 19, 2025, which also included an original OVA episode with story written by Horikoshi himself. The movie began streaming on Netflix and Crunchyroll on April 20.
