The My New Boss Is Goofy anime released episode 3 preview and synopsis, in line with its October 21 premiere. Studio A-1 Pictures is animating the series, with Noriyuki Abe as the director. You can check the preview images below:
The official website for the anime describes the plot of the episode as:
One day, Momose and Shirosaki meet an abandoned kitten in a cardboard box on the roadside. At first, the kitten was scared of Shirosaki and was threatening him, but due to Shirosaki’s kind words and actions, it began to grow attached to him, and decided to live with him. While Shirosaki was struggling to decide on a name for the kitten after he started raising it, he suddenly remembered a raccoon dog he had mistook for a cat when he was a child. Shirosaki chose the name for the kitten based on the name he and his grandmother had given to the raccoon dog when they returned it to the mountain.
The cast of the My New Boss Is Goofy anime includes:

- Tomokazu Sugita as Mitsuo Aoyama
- Hiro Shimono as Hakuto
- Jun Fukuyama as Satoshi Kinjo
Ayako Kono is the assistant director of the series. Masahiro Yokotani is in charge of the series composition with Takahiro Yasuda is both the character designer and the chief animation director. Masato Nakayama is in charge of composing the music with Jin Aketagawa as the sound director.
