My Status as an Assassin Obviously Exceeds the Hero’s anime revealed a new trailer, introducing the character Yoru. The anime previously confirmed that all episodes are already completed, and it is set to premiere in October 2025.
Studio SUNRISE is in charge of the animation, with Nobuyoshi Habara as the director. Yoru is a magical beast in the form of a black cat, and the character is voiced by Sanae Kobayashi. You can watch the new trailer below.

Matsuri Akai writes the My Status as an Assassin Obviously Exceeds the Hero’s (Asashin de Aru no Sutetasu ga Yusha Yori mo Akiraka ni Tsuyoi Nodaga) light novel series, which features illustrations by Tozai. It began as a web novel by Akai n January 2017, while Overlap began publishing the series under its Overlap Bunko imprint after acquiring it in November 2017. There is also a manga adaptation by Hiroyuki Aigamo.
Seven Seas Entertainment licensed both light novel and manga in English, describing the former:
