MyGO released a cover of the Bocchi the Rock anime’s opening theme song “Seishun Complex” on Saturday. Kessoku Band originally performed the song and it was released in October 2022.
MyGO (stylized as MyGO!!!!!) is a band from BanG Dream! that was first revealed in 2022. Their voice actresses remained anonymous until their fourth live show in April 2023. The band members consist of:
- Vo. Tomori Takamatsu (CV: Hina Youmiya)
- Gt. Anon Chihaya (CV: Rin Tateishi)
- Gt. Raana Kaname (CV: Hina Aoki)
- Ba. Soyo Nagasaki (CV: Mika Kohinata)
- Dr. Taki Shiina (CV: Coco Hayashi)
They starred in the BanG Dream! It’s MyGO!!!! anime which premiered in June 2023 and was animated by studio Sanzigen. A sequel to the series, Ave Mujica: The Die is Cast began airing in January 2025 with Sanzigen still in charge of the production. A third installment is confirmed to premiere in January 2027.
Bocchi the Rock premiered in October 2022 and had a total of 12 episodes. A second season for the anime was announced but with a new director. CloverWorks is animating both seasons.
