I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince Season 2 announced that Nako Misaki is joining the voice cast, along with details on the ending theme song. Studio Tsumugi Akita Anime Lab is back to animate the sequel, with Jin Tamamura as the director.
Nako Misaki will voice Lami, and she will also perform the ending theme song “Meteor.” She commented:
“It’s truly an honor to be involved with a series that I personally enjoy watching. I’m both excited and nervous, but I’m looking forward to it with great anticipation.
I’ve sung this song with the hope that it gently embraces all of you listening, so I would be happy if you could relax and enjoy it. And what’s more, I’ll also be appearing in the show as the voice of Lami…!

The latest trailer introduced the opening theme song “CALLING†” by Kaede Higuchi. You can watch the PV below.
Season 2 of 7th Prince is directed by Jin Tamamura, with series composition by Naoki Tozuka, who also serves as the art director. Character design and chief animation direction are handled by Naru Nishikiori, while Yuichi Abe oversees the action direction. Mai Ono is in charge of color design, Yuki Yano serves as cinematography director, and Akira Tanaka returns as sound director under Ai Addiction. The music is composed by R.O.N with production by Lantis.
The main cast is all back to reprise their roles, including Makoto Koichi (Lloyd), Fairouz Ai (Grim), Lynn (Sylpha), Akari Sekine (Ren), and Shun Horie (Tao). The previous Season 2 additions were Shotaro Morikubo as Jihriel and Mitsuru Miyamoto as Mysterious Priest.
Kenkyo na Circle writes the I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince so I Can Take My Time Perfecting My Magical Ability light novel series, featuring illustrations by Meru. The novel began on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in October 2019. Kodansha acquired it and began publishing a print version in July 2020. There is also a manga adaptation by Yosuke Kokuzawa. Kodansha USA is publishing the manga in English.
The story follows Prince Lloyd, a 10-year-old royal with a tragic past life who got reincarnated as a powerful sorcerer. Determined to continue his magical studies despite his young age and new royal status, Lloyd faces challenges in his reincarnated life as one of the most overpowered protagonists.
