The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 4 revealed the Episode 1 preview trailer and images, along with the synopsis and staff. The anime is set to premiere on July 9, with Crunchyroll confirmed as the global streaming platform. Season 4 is listed with 12 episodes. The anime was voted as the 12th most anticipated Summer 2025 anime.
Episode 1 is titled “Siltvelt,” and its synopsis is described:
In order to negotiate with Q’ten Lo, who is plotting Raphtalia’s assassination, Naofumi and his party set out for Siltvelt, the demi-human country that operates the only transport ship to Q’ten Lo. However, they are met with an enthusiastic welcome from the people and leaders of Siltvelt, resulting in an unexpected delay.
Season 4’s web episode previews will be narrated by Fohl (voiced by Kohei Amasaki) and Atla (voiced by Konomi Kohara). You can watch the first episode’s preview trailer below.

Studio Kinema Citrus is returning to animate The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 4. The opening theme song for the new season is “Resolution” by MADKID, while the ending theme song is “Once in Eternity” by Chiai Fujikawa. The opening was previewed in the first trailer, while you can hear the ending in the second one below.
