NEET Kunoichi to Nazeka Dousei Hajimemashita (For Some Reason I Started Living with a NEET Kunoichi) anime has revealed a new visual and main trailer ahead of its January 2025 premiere. Studio Quad (My Life as Inukai-san’s Dog) is animating.
The voice cast was recently expanded, and it consists of the following members:
- Hinaki Yano as Shizuri Ideura
- Shoya Ishige as Tsukasa Atsumi
- Fairouz Ai as Ayame Momochi
- Saya Aizawa as Hina Izumi
- Hina Kino as Kanae Natsumi

NEET Kunoichi to Nazeka Dousei Hajimemashita anime is based on a manga series written and drawn by Kotatsu, with Mato Yakito as the storyboard assistant. It first began serialization on Niconico Douga and Twitter (now X) in 2020. It was later acquired by KADOKAWA, which then started publishing it under its Dengeki Comics EX label.
The series follows the story of Tsukasa Atsumi, a normal salaryman, who is suddenly attacked by a monster and gallantly saved by Shizuri Ideura, a shinobi. However, when Shizuri is not working, she becomes an otaku NEET. The story will progress as Tsukasa’s househusband skills spoil Shizuri.
