As part of the ongoing lead-up to its 10th anniversary in April 2026, the Bungo Stray Dogs anime has released additional details regarding its pre-celebration initiatives and a 9th anniversary visual. These projects, being revealed month by month over the course of a year, aim to keep up its engagement and grow merchandising opportunities ahead of the anniversary.
July 9: Anniversary Visual Unveiled
The seventh-month installment features a new “9th Anniversary Celebratory Visual,” released today. The visual features key characters from the Port Mafia in a pose referencing the number 9. It will be used across multiple platforms including store displays, promotional assets, and licensed merchandise.
September: Autumn Grand Festival & Merchandise Launch
Starting September 5, 2025, Animate will begin rolling out products as part of the Bungo Stray Dogs Autumn Grand Festival. The items will highlight original character illustrations centered around a Kyushu travel concept and will include:
- Acrylic stands
- Holographic badges
- Travel-themed accessories such as mini trunk cases and locker-style keychains
These products will be sold through all Animate stores (including international locations) and via the Animate Online Shop.
September-October: Pop-Up Shops in Ikebukuro and Umeda
As a continuation of the ninth-month programming, Animate will also host pop-up shops in two major locations:
- Ikebukuro Main Store: September 20 (Saturday) to October 5 (Sunday), 2025
- Umeda Store: October 11 (Saturday) to October 26 (Sunday), 2025
These pop-ups will feature themed displays, character standees from the anniversary visual, and exclusive merchandise. Additional details on products and installations will be announced closer to the event dates.
These activities follow earlier pre-celebration projects, including themed merchandise drops, visual releases, and promotional events tied to the anime’s anniversary milestone. For a complete overview of the 12-month campaign, check out the initial announcement.
