Tsuyokute New Saga anime revealed two new voice cast members, along with the information on its theme songs. This anime was initially planned for a July 2023 release, but it was delayed for 2 years due to ‘various circumstances.’
Studio SOTSU is handling the animation alongside Studio Clutch (established in February 2024, this is their first anime credit). This marks a change for the initial studios, which were Yokohama Animation Laboratory, Makaria and SOTSU.
The opening theme song for the anime will be “Performer” by 4s4ki, while the ending theme song will be “her” by Mahiru Coda. The joining voice cast includes:
- Takehito Koyasu as Ganias
- Yoko Hikasa as Yulriga
The main cast includes Yuma Uchida as Kyle, Hiro Shimono as Seran, Ai Fairouz as Riize, Masami Seto as Urza, Minami Takahashi as Sildonia, Kaori Maeda as Milena, Hiroki Yasumoto as Zenthos, Riho Sugiyama as Miranda, Rie Hikisaka as Gou, and Tetsu Inada as Gazas.

The Tsuyokute New Saga (also known as New Saga Plus) light novel was written by Masayuki Abeand has illustrations by Ryuta Fuse. It was published by AlphaPolis from 2013 to 2018, ending with a total of10 volumes. There is also manga adaptation by Jun Miura, which was serialized from February 2014 to July 2023. It also has a total of 10 volumes. Alpha Manga licensed the manga in English.
The story follows a magic knight called Kyle, who believes he has defeated the demon lord after a difficult battle. But when he awakens, he finds himself in a world that had once been destroyed in his previous life. Reunited with someone he thought lost forever, Kyle joins forces with his friends and uses the knowledge from his past to prevent the world from falling into ruin again.
