NieR: Automata is an action role-playing game originally released in 2017. PlatinumGames developed it as a sequel to the 2010 Nier game, with Square Enix as the publisher. Initially, the game was available on PS4 and Windows (through Steam), but an Xbox One version was also released a year later. In 2021 a remake version of the game, titled Replicant ver.1.22474487139., was released. NieR games are a part of Yoko Taro’s Drakengard universe.
NieR: Automata tells the story of androids 2B, 9S and A2 and their battle to reclaim the machine-driven dystopia overrun by powerful machines.
