The upcoming NieR:Automata Ver1.1a anime unveiled a new trailer along with information about the opening and ending theme songs during the anime’s pre-recorded special program streamed on YouTube on Wednesday. The cast members and producers attended: Yui Ishikawa (2B), Natsuki Hanae (9S), Kaoru Akiyama (Pod 153), Yosuke Saito (Square Enix producer), and Shota Fuji (A-1 Pictures producer). The stream was originally supposed to be broadcast on December 11, but it was postponed due to production issues. Studio A-1 Pictures is animating the adaptation of Yoko Taro’s game. The anime unveiled a new trailer along with its January 7 premiere date last weekend.
Aimer is performing the opening theme song “escalate”, while amazarashi is singing the ending theme song “Antinomy.” Both the opening and the ending songs can be heard in the new NieR:Automata Ver1.1a trailer:
