One Piece Anime Reveals Its 28th Opening Theme Song in Spoiler-Filled New OP Video

ONE PIECE released its new opening video featuring the 28th OP theme song “Carmine” and teasing some of the upcoming events. This is the show’s 28th opening song, replacing the previous opening “Tenshi to Akuma” (“Angel and Devil”) by GRe4N BOYZ. It debuted with Episode 1139, which premiered on August 10 in Japan.

ONE PIECE – New Opening (28) Featuring Song by ELLEGARDEN

The new ending song was also released. The song by CHAMELEON LIME WHOOPIEPIE is titled “PUNKS” and is the show’s 22th ending theme song, replacing “The 1” by muque. You can check it out below.

The ONE PIECE manga by Eiichiro Oda first began in July 1997, and the series exceeded 500 million circulating copies worldwide in August 2022. It also celebrated the 25th anniversary in 2022, while the anime adaptation started in October 1999 and is also still going strong. The manga currently has 1156 chapters, while the anime continued today with Episode 1139.
