The previously announced Osananajimi to wa LoveCom ni Naranai anime has unveiled a Shio Minamo teaser visual and announced that Rin Kusumi will voice the character. The anime’s website describes Shio as one of Eeyu’s childhood friends and a popular girl in school with a carefree personality. She Studio Tezuka Productions is animating the series set to premiere in 2026.
A teaser visual and video were revealed last month. The anime adaptation is based on a manga of the same name written and drawn by Shinya Misu. The synopsis of the series is as follows:
Eeyuu, a high school boy, has a dilemma. His two childhood friends, Shio and Akari, who attend the same school, have become way too cute! Even though neither of them has any romantic interest in him, if they ever found out that he’s been looking at their grown-up selves with less-than-innocent thoughts… it would be beyond embarrassing! But Shio and Akari each have their own secrets, too…!?
It’s frustrating! It’s complicated!! But childhood friends are the absolute best!!!
