Oshi no Ko Season 2 released the preview for the upcoming episode 3. Daisuke Nishimura (CUE! episodes 11, 20, and 24 director) is directing and handling the episode’s storyboard while Jin Tanaka (Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club) is in charge of the script. The episode is slated to premiere on HIDIVE and Bilibili on Wednesday, July 17.
Studio Doga Kobo (Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie) returned to animate the sequel with Daisuke Hiramaki (Selection Project) still as director and Saori Tachibana (Wasteful Days of High School Girls) as assistant director. Kana Hirayama (Rent-A-Girlfriend) continues to design the characters.
GEMN is performing the opening song “Fatal” while Hitsujibungaku is singing the anime’s ending theme song “Burning.” The cast will also reprise their roles:

The TV anime adaptation is based on the manga series written by Aka Akasaka (Kaguya-sama: Love is War) and illustrated by Mengo Yokari (Scum’s Wish). Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump has been serializing the series since April 2020. HIDIVE is streaming the first season and they describe it as:
