Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World revealed a special trailer, which is the recap of the first season. The sequel to the anime, which was announced in October of last year, will be airing in 2023. The first season of the anime was animated by studio Silver Link and it aired in the Fall 2020 anime season.
In addition to the trailer, the director of Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World, Yasufumo Soejima shared a comment:
“Alice and Iska. They are the best rivals who respect each other and improve each other, and the ‘tension and tenderness’ of their relationship is an irresistible attraction! The delicate yet bold drama and worldview that unfolds from there! I am very happy to be involved in the creation of the anime Our Last Crusade. We have been communicating with the original author, Sazane-sensei, and have carefully and meticulously worked out the details of the project to produce a film that will be enhanced as a visual work. Please look forward to it!”
Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World is a light novel series written by Kei Sazane and illustrated by Ao Nekonabe. It started serialization in 2017. Yen Press licensed the light novel and describes the series as:
