Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World Season 3 Officially Announced

Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World Season 3 has officially been announced, with a teaser visual and new story intro revealed.

Also known in Japan as Kimi to Boku no Saigo no Senjo, Aruiwa Sekai ga Hajimaru Seisen (Kimisen), the series will continue with Season III, following the events of the second season.

The introduction hints that the story will bring Iska and Alice face to face with the “true destiny” connecting them, as buried history from 100 years ago begins to surface. With Sisbell taken to the Empire, Iska and the N07 unit infiltrate enemy territory together with Rin in order to bring her back. At the same time, Alice stays behind in the Sovereignty, where the awakening of the founder Nebulis beneath the royal palace draws her into a new battlefield.

Yuki Inaba is serving as director and series composer for Season 3. Kaori Yoshikawa is the character designer, while animation production is credited to studio palette and SILVER LINK.

The announced voice cast includes:

• Sora Amamiya as Aliceliese Lou Nebulis IX
• Nao Shiraki as Mismis Klass
• Yumiri Hanamori as Rin Vispose
• Shunichi Toki as Jhin Syulargun
• Kaori Ishihara as Nene Alkastone
• Azumi Waki as Sisbell Lou Nebulis IX

Original author Kei Sazane also shared a comment to commemorate the announcement:

“It’s finally been announced. Season III has officially been greenlit for production!

I’m truly moved that I can share this moment of announcement with all the fans, staff, and cast members! As the original author, I’m also genuinely happy that we’ll be able to see the continuation of Season II in anime form. Thank you so much!

That said, production is still ongoing. It will be some time before the anime airs, but I would be grateful if you could continue to watch over us warmly. Season II saw a major battle involving Iska and Alice, and it was also a time of great upheaval for the Nebulis Imperial Court.

Season III will feature developments on an even larger scale, as well as episodes that approach the very core of the story. Please look forward to it!”

Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World is based on a light novel series written by Kei Sazane and illustrated by Ao Nekonabe, and it began in 2017. Yen Press licensed the light novel, and they describe the story:
