Overgeared anime revealed its third trailer and third key visual ahead of its October 2, 2026 premiere date. Two additional cast members were also announced, while the trailer previews the ending theme “Ray of Emotion.” The second PV and visual were revealed in July during Anime Expo.
The newly announced cast members are:
- Yuki Murata as Irene
- Yurika Hirayama as Isabel
The new trailer also previews the theme songs. The opening theme song is “SATISFY” by Re:name, while the ending theme “Ray of Emotion” is performed by virtual singer and rapper TAO. You can watch the new trailer below.
Based on the popular Korean web novel by Saenal and the webtoon adaptation by Monohumbug (REDICE STUDIO) and Team Argo, Overgeared follows Youngwoo Shin, a struggling gamer whose life changes after he gets a legendary blacksmith’s inheritance inside the virtual reality MMORPG Satisfy.

Ayako Kono (Sword Art Online Progressive) is directing the anime at J.C.STAFF, with Kenta Ihara (Sentenced to Be a Hero) handling series composition, Ryosuke Tanigawa designing the characters, Yoshiaki Fujisawa composing the music, and Yoshikazu Iwanami serving as the sound director.
Originally serialized as a web novel before becoming one of REDICE STUDIO’s most successful webtoon adaptations, Overgeared joins a growing lineup of Korean fantasy series receiving anime adaptations following Solo Leveling, Tower of God, and The Beginning After the End.
