Paradox Live Dope Show to be Streamed by Avex Pictures

Avex Pictures, the group who produced series like Assassination Classroom, Noragami Aragoto, and Fruits Basket, announced the upcoming concert event Paradox Live Dope Show, featuring different musical groups from their multimedia project “Paradox Live”.

The Paradox Live Dope Show will open on Saturday, May 28th, and begin streaming from the PACIFICO Yokohama National Convention Hall at 14:00 JST. Tickets cost $30, and can be purchased on their website.

Paradox Live is a multimedia project that follows different musical groups who use the substance known as “Phantometal”, forged as accessories for the groups to wear to project brilliant illusions. It is known to have side effects, and becomes part of an overarching mystery. 

Avex describes the project as such:

Paradox Live is a Hip-hop mixed media project born by a joint collaboration between Avex and G Crest since 11/6/2019. Set in the near future, saturated in Hip-hop culture comes a new movement known as “Phantom Live. Each rapper uses a metal accessory called “Phantom Metal” that reacts to the user’s DNA and displays an illusion linked to their emotions, setting a magnificent stage for enthusiastic youths.

With a sudden revival of renowned club “CLUB paradox” hosting Paradox Live, four teams known as BAE, The Cat’s Whiskers, cozmez and Akanyatsura clash in the competition. The victory went to cozmez but in the heat of battle, the legendary team Buraikan was stirred and sparked the start of a new challenge. Time passed, new teams, VISTY, GOKU LUCK, 1Nm8 and AMPRULE joined the project. Each character features the most popular voice actors leading the current animation entertainment.
