Pseudo Harem episode 9 debuted preview images and a preview video before its August 29 air date. The new episode, which airs on Thursday, will focus on Rin as she struggles to come to terms with the possibility that Eiji is popular with the ladies in his college.
After all, not only is Eiji fun to be around, but someone already asked him out. To Rin, that means that there’s the possibility that Eiji might be stolen from her, leaving her heart in shambles. Pseudo Harem episode 9 was directed by Yusuke Nakagama; Yuko Kakihara handled its screenplay, and Daisuke Kurose did the storyboard. Saori Hayami voices Rin Nanakura, the show’s female lead, while Nohuhiko Okamoto voices Eiji Kitahama, the show’s male lead. The rest of the voice cast includes:

- Satou Minako as Kiri Shirasawa
- Maria Abo as Megu
- Kouji Yusa as Tsuguto Iwata

Pseudo Harem is the kind of show that gives guys an unreachable standard for women in the best of ways. When the drama club newbie Rin Nanakura develops a crush on her senpai, she works up the courage to ask him a simple question about whether he thinks about romance. But she receives a complicated answer that he does; his dream is to have a harem.
While that response may have scared away most girls, Rin Nanakura isn’t like most girls; she’s best girl. So she uses her world-class acting skills to playfully mimic a harem of different girls in order to enamor her beloved Eiji. While this may seem like an unusual approach, her efforts pay off, and soon enough, he’s as smitten with her as she is with him. Pseudo Harem simulcasts on Crunchyroll every Thursday and is a rom-com fan’s delight.
