Re:ZERO Starting Life in Another World — the second half begins in earnest! Let’s get fired up! More than anyone else, me!!

Whether this means that Nagatsuki has plans for another ~9 arcs, or whether Arc 10 will represent a major turning point that can be seen as a clean divider between events, is unknown. Nevertheless, the post attracted a lot of attention and excitement, with Nagatsuki’s last update being on November 27 on the web novel platform Shosetsuka ni Narou.

For anime-only fans, it can only mean that there’s still so much more Re:ZERO to experience. The anime’s third season left off at LN Volume 21 / WN Arc 5. Time to catch up. Season 4 debuts this April, receiving its main trailer and opening song earlier this month. You can also check out the anime’s 10 major projects for the 10th anniversary, and our interview with Emilia’s voice actor, Rie Takahashi.

Yen Press licenses the light novel version of the series in North America, describing the first volume:
Subaru Natsuki was just trying to get to the convenience store but wound up summoned to another world. He encounters the usual things–life-threatening situations, silver haired beauties, cat fairies–you know, normal stuff. All that would be bad enough, but he’s also gained the most inconvenient magical ability of all–time travel, but he’s got to die to use it. How do you repay someone who saved your life when all you can do is die?
