Reincarnated as the Daughter of the Legendary Hero and the Queen of Spirits Anime Reveals Teaser Visual & Main Cast

Reincarnated as the Daughter of the Legendary Hero and the Queen of Spirits anime revealed a new teaser visual, along with the main voice cast and staff. The anime was announced in January 2024, while the update arrived during the AnimeJapan 2025 event.

Studio J.C. Staff is animating, with the following main staff:

• Director: Toshinori ‌Fukushima
• Series Composition / Script: Toko ‌Machida
• Character Design: Mina ‌Osawa

The main voice cast was also announced and includes:

• Seria Fukagawa as Ellen
• Kazuyuki Okitsu as Rovel
• Mai Nakahara as Origin

Reincarnated as the Daughter of the Legendary Hero and the Queen of Spirits (originally titled Chichi wa Eiyuu, Haha wa Seirei, Musume no Watashi wa Tenseisha) is a Japanese light novel series written by Matsuura and illustrated by keepout.

The story originally debuted as a web novel on the platform Shosetsuka ni Naro, where it ran from September 10, 2016, to November 1, 2020. It was later picked up by Fujimi Shobo, which published nine volumes under the Kadokawa Books imprint between March 10, 2018, and October 7, 2022, marking the end of the light novel’s serialization.

A manga adaptation illustrated by Yutaka Ohori began serialization in Square Enix’s Monthly Big Gangan magazine on September 25, 2018. As of March 2025, the manga has 11 volumes released. The English version is available digitally via Comikey and the Manga UP! Global app. The latter describes the story:

“I became the spirit of elements when I reincarnated?!” Ellen is a young girl reincarnated from modern-day Japan as a half-spirit. Her father, Rovel, is the legendary hero who saved the kingdom, and her mother, Origin, is the primordial queen and ruler of all spirits. Furthermore, she herself has the overpowered ability to manipulate the elements. While looking absolutely adorable, this perfect little girl will fall back on her past life’s knowledge and the power of the spirits to protect her precious family!
