Reincarnated as the Daughter of the Legendary Hero and the Queen of Spirits Reveals Main Visual, Trailer Featuring More Cast, Theme Songs, October 5 Premiere

The upcoming Reincarnated as the Daughter of the Legendary Hero and the Queen of Spirits anime revealed a main visual and trailer featuring additional cast, the opening and ending theme songs, and an October 5 preview. “Maho” by Caho will be the opening theme song, and the ending theme song is “Family” by Yui Nishio.

Studio J.C. Staff is animating with Toshinori Fukushima as the director. Toko Machida is in charge of the series composition and script, and Mina Osawa is the character designer. The voice cast consists of:

• Kazuyuki Okitsu as Rovel
• Mai Nakahara as Origin
• Masaaki Mizunaka as Raviselle (NEW)
• Shoya Chiba as Gadielle (NEW)

Reincarnated as the Daughter of the Legendary Hero and the Queen of Spirits anime is based on a light novel series by Matsuura. It initially launched as a web novel on Shosetsuka ni Naro, running from 2016 to 2020. Fujimi Shobo later published it in print under the Kadokawa Books label with illustrations by keepout.

A manga version by Yutaka Ohori began in Monthly Big Gangan in 2018 and has 11 volumes as of March 2025. The English edition is available digitally via Comikey and Manga UP! Global. They describe the plot as follows:
“I became the spirit of elements when I reincarnated?!”

Ellen is a young girl reincarnated from modern-day Japan as a half-spirit. Her father, Rovel, is the legendary hero who saved the kingdom, and her mother, Origin, is the primordial queen and ruler of all spirits. Furthermore, she herself has the overpowered ability to manipulate the elements.

While looking absolutely adorable, this perfect little girl will fall back on her past life’s knowledge and the power of the spirits to protect her precious family!
