Re:Monster Gets Season 2

Re:Monster anime is getting a Season 2. A teaser visual was also released, and it features the ever-evolving protagonist, Approu, alongside Princess Rubellia, a key character from Season 1.

Studio Deen animated the first season, which ran from April to June 2024. Crunchyroll is streaming. The cast includes:

• Mai Kanno as The Redhead
• Nene Hieda as Rubilia

Synopsis:
Suddenly stabbed by a stalker, Gobrou wakes up only to find himself reincarnated as the weakest goblin. With the ability to grow stronger the more he eats through his “Absorption” skill, he undergoes an extraordinary evolution and quickly rises to the top of the goblin community. In a brutal world where the weak are preyed upon, he embarks on a thrilling tale of survival, rising from the bottom with the help of capable companions. A thrilling and exciting story of a monster’s reincarnation fantasy begins to unfold!

The anime is based on a light novel series by Kogitsune Kanekiru with illustrations by Yamaada. It was first published on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website from 2011 to 2018. AlphaPolis later acquired the title and is also serializing the manga adaptation by Haruyoshi Kobayakawa. The 13th volume of the manga is set to release on September 26. Seven Seas Entertainment is publishing it in English.
