Rent a Girlfriend Season 5 (Hawaiians Resort Arc cour 2) will premiere in 2026. An illustration drawn by character designer Kanna Hirayama announcing the premiere date was also unveiled. Season 4 of the anime concluded with episode 12 last Tuesday.
Kazuomi Koga is directing the series at TMS Entertainment. Mitsutaka Hirota is writing the series composition. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime and they describe it as follows:
Kinoshita Kazuya is a 20-year-old failure of a college student. He managed to kiss his girlfriend once, but was dumped after a month. “Ugh… Damn it. I never want to go through that again.”

The Rent a Girlfriend anime is based on a manga written and illustrated by Reiji Miyajima. It has been serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine since July 2017. Kodansha USA publishes the manga in English.
