Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- TV anime has confirmed that Season 4 will begin on April 8, 2026. Alongside the announcement, the second key visual and details about the new ending theme and streaming plans were revealed.
Season 4 will consist of 19 episodes, divided over two consecutive cours / story arcs:
- The Loss Arc: 11 episodes, beginning on April 8, 2026
- The Recapture Arc: 8 episodes, beginning on August 12, 2026
Both arcs will air and stream as part of the same season, continuing the story following the events of Season 3. Considering the episode counts, there will also be a ~2 month break from June 17 (assuming there are no recaps/weekly breaks in-between) until August 12, but the season will still stream over two consecutive cours–Spring 2026 and Summer 2026. You can see the new visual below.
The season’s ending theme, “Ender Ember,” will be performed by returning MYTH & ROID in collaboration with TK of Ling tosite sigure. This will be their first collaboration. You can hear a preview of the song below.
The artists left comments on the new season:
MYTH & ROID
Following our work on Season 3, we are honored to once again perform the ending theme for Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- Season 4 as MYTH & ROID feat. TK (Ling tosite sigure).
Our new song, “Ender Ember,” was created around the theme of the lingering heat that remains after an ending. While carrying forward the time we have walked alongside Re:ZERO, we sought to capture and give shape to the emotions that resonate beyond the story itself.
With TK joining us as a featured artist, his unique expression has brought a new intensity to the track. As our voices intertwine, the song carries a depth and energy unlike anything we have created before.
We hope you will look forward to both Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- Season 4, airing this April, and to “Ender Ember.”
TK of Ling tosite sigure
Within the history that MYTH & ROID and Re:ZERO have built together, there are beautiful melodies—drawn, and then destroyed, again and again.
In helping with this collaboration, I focused on how I could push back against the oncoming despair with a different kind of despair, rewriting it—adding a new kind of threat, a new kind of tension.
What I was able to draw within pages that never truly end—pages you can’t escape—still isn’t entirely clear to me, even now. When everything has slipped away from memory, I hope we can meet again, as if by fate.
I’m truly looking forward to the broadcast of Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- Season 4.
Congratulations on the 10th anniversary.
The previously revealed trailer features the opening theme song “Recollect” by Konomi Suzuki feat. Ashnikko. You can check that out below.
