Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- Season 4 has topped the weekly Spring 2026 anime rankings for two times in a row in the first two weeks of the season. The anime had over 10% of the total votes both times.
Season 4 was voted as the most anticipated anime of the Spring 2026 season. It began on April 8 and ranked first in our first weekly poll of the season after Episode 1, starting the streak that continued in the second weekly poll this week.
The season will consist of 19 episodes, divided over two consecutive cours / story arcs:
- The Loss Arc: 11 episodes, beginning on April 8, 2026
- The Recapture Arc: 8 episodes, beginning on August 12, 2026
Both arcs will air and stream as part of the same season, continuing the story following the events of Season 3. Considering the episode counts, there will also be a ~2 month break from June 17 (assuming there are no recaps/weekly breaks in-between) until August 12, but the season will still stream over two consecutive cours–Spring 2026 and Summer 2026.

The first season of the anime aired in 2016, adapting the light novel series by Tappei Nagatsuki and illustrated by Shinichirou Otsuka . The series also announced 10 major projects for its 10th anniversary this year.
