The preview images and staff for episode 2 of The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 3 were revealed on Monday. The upcoming episode titled “Nadia” will be released on Friday, October 13. Crunchyroll is streaming the series with English subtitles. You can check out the preview images below:

Takao Abo directed Season 1 of the series at Kinema Citrus, which ran for a total of 25 episodes in 2019. Studio DR Movie helped co-produce Season 2 with Masato Jinbo as its director and ran for 13 episodes. Now the series is back with Hitoshi Haga directing the new season at Kinema Citrus alongside Keigo Koyanagi who is handling the script and series composition.

Learning that other nations are enduring the Calamity Waves, Naofumi vows to fight. But before he can begin, word comes that the massive Spirit Tortoise is free. Left unchecked, this rampaging monster could destroy the world. He assembles companions Raphtalia and Filo and a few new allies, one of which reveals scary news—this was no accident. Someone deliberately unleashed the legendary beast!
