ROLL OVER AND DIE anime unveiled a main visual and trailer along with additional cast members and the opening and ending theme songs. The series will premiere in January 2026 on Crunchyroll. Joining the cast are:

PassCode performs the opening theme song “Liberator,” and Yuki Tanaka sings the ending theme song “I Need.” The previously announced cast is featured in the main trailer:

ROLL OVER AND DIE: I Will Fight for an Ordinary Life with My Love and Cursed Sword! anime is based on a light novel series written by kiki and illustrated by kinta. The story began as a web novel on the site Shosetsuka ni Naro in January 2018. Micro Magazine picked it up in July of the same year and began releasing it in print under their GC Novels label.
Sunao Minakata is illustrating the manga adaptation and has been running online on Micro Magazine’s Comic Ride website since December 2018. Seven Seas Entertainment licensed both the light novel and manga in English.
The story follows Flamme Apricot, a girl chosen by divine prophecy for a hero’s party despite having no combat ability. After being betrayed and sold into slavery, her fate changes when she unlocks the power of a mysterious “Reversal” skill and gets a cursed sword.
