Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian (Roshidere) has revealed the episode 5 ending video. It is once again covered by Alya (CV: Sumire Uesaka), just like with all the previous theme songs. Last week she covered the iconic theme song “Hare Hare Yukai” from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. The episode 5 ending song is titled “Chiisana Koi no Uta” (A Little Love Song), and you can check it out below.
Studio Doga Kobo is animating Roshidere. Besides the new song and Haruhi Suzumiya cover, Alya performs all four of the previously debuted theme songs as well. Those included the opening “1-ban Kagayaku Hoshi,” the first ending “School Paradise,” the episode 2 ending “Kawaikute Gomen,” and the episode 3 ending “Omoide ga Ippai.”
The anime was voted as the most anticipated show of the season, and it won the first two weekly rankings, dropping in the next two. The anime is based on a light novel written by SunSunSun and illustrated by Momoco. The novel was initially published online as two short stories on the self-publishing website Shosetsuka ni Naro in May 2020. It was later acquired by Kadokawa Shoten’s Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko imprint in 2021.
Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket is serializing the manga adaptation by Saho Tenamachi, which was launched in October 2022. Yen Press licensed the novel in English.
