Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian (Roshidere) anime has taken exactly half the wins this season as it was voted the best anime in week 10 of the Summer 2024 ranking. This time, OSHI NO KO Season 2 was absent due to airing a recap episode, while 2.5 Dimensional Seduction made a big jump to enter the top 3 for the first time.

Summer 2024 – Top 10 Anime of Week 10 | Roshidere Ranks First
The anime is based on the light novel of the same name written by SunSunSun and illustrated by Momoco. It started with two short stories on Shosetsuka ni Naro in May 2020, while Kadokawa acquired it in 2021.
Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket is serializing the manga adaptation by Saho Tenamachi, which was launched in October 2022. Yen Press licensed the novel in English.
The romantic comedy follows Masachika Kuze, a lazy genius who sits next to Alya, the classroom’s Russian beauty. She constantly flirts with him in Russian, not knowing that he actually understands the language. With a colorful cast including Masachika’s chaotic sister Yuki and Alya’s older sister Masha, they go through the daily student lives as they navigate their sympathies to each other. Studio Doga Kobo is animating.
