We will soon have an original badminton anime as Ryman’s Club was officially announced, and it will release next season in January 2022. Studio LIDEN FILMS (who previously worked on Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches, Tokyo Revengers, among others) will handle the animation production. They’ve released 2 visuals, one featuring the salary men in their suits, while the other shows them in their badminton clothes:
The anime also received a teaser trailer, featuring the cast members and showcasing the main character as he joins his company and begins playing some badminton again:

The anime follows Mikoto Shiratori, a child prodigy badminton player who suffered a big loss in high school and hasn’t recovered since. He then becomes a salary man, and joins his corporate team. Besides Junya Enoki (Itadori Yuuji in Jujutsu Kaisen, Nasa in Tonikaku Kawaii), voicing the MC, the cast includes:
- Junya Enoki as Mikoto Shiratori
- Shin-ichiro Miki as Tatsuru Miyazumi
- Kaito Ishikawa as Souta Saeki
- Ryota Osaka as Touya Saeki
- Tetsuya Kakihara as Kouki Takeda
